Honda Civic Type R GT

One of the few “unabused” examples left available today.

We purchased this example from a wonderful lady who is a life-long Type R enthusiast. She had previous owned an EP3 before the FN2, so she really knew how to look after them properly being such an avid enthusiast.

The condition of this car really shows it’s been loved throughout its life with Full Service History (detailed below), extremely clean interior and exterior and from behind the wheel it feels exactly as a nice low mileage car should, especially with that Limited Slip Differential you get with the post 2009 cars. (If you’re reading this, you probably knew that anyway!)

The exterior condition is excellent, with only very minor stone-chips or imperfections but nothing unreasonable at all. No signs of any accident damage, or corrosion! The usual “thing” on these cars is corrosion of the rear axle – this car, we are pleased to report has a rear axle in excellent condition with no visible signs of corrosion – again that reflecting the condition of the rest of the car.

It drives straight and true with no knocks or rattles, the K20 pulls as strongly and cleanly as it should with a good VTEC kick. The clutch and gearbox are equally as smooth and slick as they should be.

It’s had all four of its upgraded 19” Diamond Turned “Rage” Alloys refurbished due to the usual surface corrosion they suffer, they now look great. They’re fitted with new Pirelli P-Zeros on the front and nearly new Uniroyal Rainsport 5’s on the back. Overall, its a rare low mileage, low owners, LSD FN2 Type R GT that does not come around often.
