Lotus Elise S Touring

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely Lotus Elise S Touring, finished in Arctic Silver with black full leather interior, our 2007 car features the Toyota-supplied 1.8 litre VVT-I engine, producing 134bhp – more than enough in a car that weighs in at around 900kgs. The car was originally the dealer demonstrator of Murray Motor Co Lotus in Edinburgh, and like many demonstrator cars, there were many option boxes ticked…

The big option box is the Touring Pack, which included Leather upholstery for the seats and door panels, electric windows, additional insulation for the soft-top and some additional sound deadening. Additionally, our Elise comes 16” front and 17” rear Exige-alloys wrapped in matching Yokohama tyres, all of which were recently replaced. And with air conditioning, original Alpine CD player, hard-top, a bespoke car cover and even mud flaps – it really is an example that could be used regularly on road or track.

We’re pleased to see that the previous owners of this Elise have made the most of it, the original service book has no room left for additional stamps, it feels a little like a fully-stamped Passport – a life well lived. The stamps and invoices which accompany the car are plentiful, services, MOTs, parts, it’s all there, and shows regular and detailed maintenance throughout the life of the car – crucially every single stamp and service invoice comes from a Lotus Authorised Service Centre.

From behind the wheel our Elise feels solid and tight, not a knock, squeak or rattle to be found – it drives beautifully, as you’d expect. It’s such a shame that lightweight analog sports cars like this are a dying breed now, everyone should own one at some point – and now’s your chance.
