MINI Cooper S JCW (R56)

Cars like this don’t come along very often, with the previous owner having loved and enjoyed this JCW for the last 11 years. She loved it so much that it was considered part of the family and even had a name – Bruce. This JCW is an unmodified example in an attractive colour combination with plenty of history and both keys.

Presenting very well for a car of this age and mileage, with recently refurbished alloy wheels, beautifully bright Chili Red paintwork and a clean interior where importantly, everything works as it should. The exterior has a few age-related marks, and the new owner will also benefit from a new set of bonnet stripes, and replacement JCW branded wheel centre caps to complete the freshen-up.

The original service book shows the Pre-Delivery Inspection at the MINI factory handover centre in Oxford followed by 9 further stamps at regular intervals. Additionally, a sheaf of invoices and history showing additional ‘no expense spared’ maintenance including a replacement timing chain in 2022.

Finished in Chili Red with white roof & white stripes, coupled with the Carbon Black interior, this JCW includes features such as the panoramic ‘double tilt’ sunroof, 17” JCW wheels with premium tyres. Tech includes MINI Navigation, Automatic Air Conditioning, DAB Radio, Bluetooth Phone Prep and Xenon Headlights.

It goes without saying that this Cooper S JCW (Bruce) drives as it should. No unwanted smoke on start-up or when warm, and sounding absolutely fantastic with no rattles, knocks or bangs from either drivetrain or suspension. The steering is arrow straight and gearbox selects gears beautifully. It has been a credit to its previous owner after lavishing it with love and attention throughout its life.
