Peugeot 106 Rallye S2

We are proud to offer for sale this Peugeot 106 Rallye S2, finished in Indigo Blue – the perfect colour for what is surely one of the coolest cars on the road today.

R190XWJ was offered to us by a business called Retro Classic Car Garages LTD who are based near Bristol. They had been set a goal by a client to find a good Indigo blue Rallye to add to their (very impressive) collection of cars. The previous owner was a mature gentleman with a fantastic taste in great drivers’ cars.

This car was found in excellent condition, having benefitted from a repaint and presenting very well with all the correct Rallye decals in place. The owner commissioned a full mechanical overhaul, instructing Retro Classic Car to go through it with a fine-tooth comb and ensure the car was ready to be used reliably and driven properly.

Having had close to £10,000 invested into it, the list of work is extensive but a few notable highlights –

• Full Exhaust replacement to OEM Specification
• Full Service, Cambelt and Water Pump change
• All brakes and brake hoses replaced
• New Rear beam
• New tyres

As you’d expect, our Rallye drives and presents utterly superbly, and stands out as a totally unmodified example, a rarity today as many of these cars were subject to 16v conversions.

This is a fantastic example, and not a case of “I’ll wait for the next one” – this is the best S2 I’ve ever seen and encourage anyone thinking about it to snap this one up – You’ll never not be the coolest car in the car park in an Indigo Blue S2 Rallye…
