Renault Clio 182

We are delighted to offer for sale this fantastic Renault Clio 182, finished in French Racing Blue with both Cup Packs, and all-important racing stripes, which are scientifically proven to improve performance as we all know.

This particular example is in superb condition, with no corrosion to be found anywhere on the bodywork. It presents itself beautifully inside, outside and even underneath – having been cleaned and protected, safeguarding against any potential corrosion in the future.

The car is totally standard and unmodified, with the exception of the Scorpion rear silencer that most, if not all of these cars now have due to the factory rear silencer no longer being available. However, you’d be forgiven for thinking this Scorpion exhaust was a factory item from the sound, which is very close to the original spec.

To drive, this Clio is absolutely spot on – the geometry is dead straight and true, with no knocks or rattles. The 18” wheels are all fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport tyres with plenty of tread.

We’ve had the pleasure of selling plenty of very special, low mileage Clios, and this has to be up there with the best of them as one of the tightest feeling we’ve driven. The engine and gearbox are both feeling healthy, probably as good as they did when the car was new. This one is that good.

It has been serviced on mileage rather than time, but all of the important jobs have been taken care of, such as the crucial Cam Belt, Dephaser and Water Pump replacement in 2020 at Four Ashes Renault Specialists, and then again as part of our preparation for sale, along with a service, so it’s ready to be enjoyed by its next enthusiastic keeper.

Included with the car are two keys, original owners’ manuals and a folder of invoices and MOT certificates detailing the history.
