About This Car…
We are pleased to offer for sale this Renault Clio 172 Cup finished in Mondial Blue. An original and unmodified example, aside from the common exception of a KTEC stealth exhaust due to the original units no longer being available. It makes a lovely sound, not too loud or overbearing, but enough to bring a smile to your face!
Showing just two previous keepers on the V5, we believe that this may be a one-owner car as it looks like it may have been a company car to begin with, then purchased by the driver who has kept it, and lovingly cared for it ever since.
A huge folder full of invoices and receipts from its life, this has been a truly loved car. Mechanically it reflects this, it drives as it should, feeling punchy and strong through the rev range. The gearbox feels smooth and free from any crunching.
It feels very solid and tight, with no knocks or rattles, beautiful steering with the alignment straight and true. It’s had all four wheels refurbished and four brand new Continental tyres fitted, replaced as part of our preparation due to age.
Inside is very clean and tidy without the usual damage or signs of abuse. The bodywork is in very good condition generally with no corrosion in any of the wheel arches or other usual places, a few small imperfections from a car of this age but nothing out of the ordinary.
